Inquilab Housing is a social housing provider, owning and managing 1300 properties and providing services throughout West London, Elmbridge and Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Director or Head of Operations to make a tangible difference in a housing association that is genuinely committed to improving the lives of its residents.

As part of our Executive Management Team you will help shape our strategy and implement our Corporate Plan. You will also be instrumental in supporting our new and agile working strategy to ensure, first and foremost, it enhances our ability to offer the best possible service to our residents.

On an operational level you will ensure that all our services are delivered in a customer focused manner which is accessible to all our residents. You will ensure the effective and efficient day to day delivery of all services under your remit, including repairs and maintenance, budget control, rent collection, dealing with arrears and responding to residents in a consistent, sensitive and prompt manner.

As we move forward to become a more agile organisation, you will also help steer new approaches to service delivery, ensuring the potential of technology is maximized to the full.

About You

As the successful candidate you will already have significant of experience as a Director or Head of Operations within a housing context. You will also have a considerable passion for improving the lives of our diverse residents, many of which have a number of disadvantages and hurdles to overcome. You will relish working for a small organization where your impact will be felt at both a strategic and ‘hands on’ level. Working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and other stakeholders you will be willing to challenge when necessary, but in a manner that will gain the support of others and maintain good relationships. You will also be confident in the use of technology and ideally experienced in the concept of agile working.
